A growing body of research points to the essential role that engagement plays in the learning process. Students are more apt to learn in a comfortable, stimulating learning environments where they are able to share their creativity. Therefore, these alternative learning resources such as lap desk, bean bag seats and a collaborative floor work bundle are more likely to attract students and stimulate learning. Our students may not have access to an abundance of resources at home. However, school should be a place where all students have equal opportunities to supplies, technology, and resources. Therefore, I know my students will enjoy having flexible learning spaces where they can collaborate with others or read a book on a comfortable bean bag.
