The children in my class will benefit greatly from listening and using their verbal and drawing skills to retell the story the have listened to using the headphones and cassette player. They will learn the benefit of working together in small groups. The books and cassettes I am requesting offer various levels of ability and languages. This listening center will help to build phonemic awareness as well as comprehension. This project be an asset to class of young bilingual learners. This project will significantly help my students become exceptional readers! The children will use the project materials daily during our class center time in small groups! We share and grow together!
