I am the teacher for a class called "GENIUS SQUAD". Through this class students work as Technology Leaders in the school. They assist the school's IT Department to troubleshoot, repair and set up Laptop Carts, Desk Top Computers, and iPads. They check the status of devices, assist teachers and students with technology questions, and Lead training sessions and workshops. Students learn the basics of Tech Support, customer service and work flow processes. They learn the basics of hardware and software repair and maintenance and also perform regular maintenance on our school's devices. Not only do my students learn technology skills but also presentation and teaching skills. They also run "APPY" Hours, which are after-school learning sessions aimed to introduce new technologies and programs that are entering our school.
