My students are introspective and have a desire to learn and grow. I believe that their economic situation and/or ethnicity should not define the capabilities, potential and the talents they ultimately hold. Challenging the status quo and realizing full potential is paramount for student understanding. Incorporating real world issues in my keystone classes will nurture curiosity and develop higher-order thinking skills. Students possess the drive and the tenacity and no outlet for them to demonstrate it.
