Aloha! I am a first year STEM teacher at Kauluwela Elementary School and I will be given an actual classroom space to teach STEM and the Engineering Design Process next 2021-2022 school year! Up until this year STEM specials classes have been conducted in the library, utilizing as much of the space we can. Now that I will be in my own classroom, I look forward to completely using this new space to do my best to enhance the understanding of STEM to my students. I am forever grateful to those who continue to help with bettering the future of learning for Hawaii's students. That being said, I would really appreciate being able to give my culturally and linguistically diverse students experiences to learn about science, math, engineering, and technology outside of the classroom!
