Our classroom is in the middle of a 40 year old school. As such, we don’t have windows to brighten up the room. I’ve tried to make the reading corner inviting, but we have nothing to sit on! These colorful, comfy seats will be perfect for our royal highnesses to escape into fantasy land in a good book! I plan on using the chairs in the reading corner for silent reading time. I will also use them in small groups so the students can find a quiet corner to read aloud to each other. By creating a separate space, the students can focus on the book they are reading and disconnect from other activities going on in the classroom
