My students come to school prepared to take on challenges every day. Their enthusiasm for learning and love of reading inspires me to be a better teacher. They are an incredible group of 4th graders with a thirst for knowledge. Many of them are the children of immigrant families who have learned English as a second language. We are located in a middle to lower class neighborhood, and our school is one that makes you feel at home. You can't help but feel welcome as soon as you walk through the doors. My students are an amazing group of 4th graders yearning to use technology to support their reading, writing and researching skills. They are vivacious, inquisitive young people who have learned to develop questions and opinions about texts read and the world around them. They need a means to help them discover answers to their questions.
