Even though the children in my classroom are so diverse, we have learning in common. Having the Big Book Stand with the flannel board will help the children learn through books and flannel pieces. All children can learn from these experiences whether they speak English, another language, or don't speak at all! I am the type of teacher who uses many ways to teach language and literacy such as through songs, books, games, and activities.
