My students come from a rough part of town, many with single parents, or other family members acting as guardians. These little guys work hard to succeed and love learning. They rise to our growing expectations break through any boundaries set in their way. They are proud, confident, and caring. As five and six year olds they are very concerned with the good of the group and love to see everyone following directions and participating. We often sing throughout the day to take a brain break, learn how to count or skip count, and remember how to spell our many sight words! The best part about kindergarteners is their adoration of your offensive inability to carry a tune! We sing loud and proud to learn!

About my class
