I teach at a school where the majority of our students come from low income families and many are lacking technology in their homes. I have a class of 30 students and the only technology we have in our classroom is my computer and smart board. This generation of students needs to be very familiar with technology because not only are our lives compromised with technology in all areas, but students will now be doing their state testing on computers. Incorporating technology into my classroom is a crucial part to my students learning in all areas since not much can be done outside of school due to the lack of technology.
