Headphones will help my students focus on learning English by hearing the correct pronunciation. Many of my students are English Language Learners and they use software everyday to help in their acquisition of the language. Often the children are distracted by outside noises that interfere with their concentration. Headphones will help my students be able to listen more carefully to the language instruction and articulation. Also, each headphone comes with a built in microphone that could be used to record the children reading their own writing. This feedback will help my EL students hear the subtle differences in the letter sounds.
