My students are in 8th grade, and attend a middle school in central Texas. My campus is Title 1, and my 8th graders live at or below poverty level. I teach AVID and I have a lot of passion for what I teach, and I want my students to be successful. The majority of the students I teach do not have ideal lives, they come from broken homes, have parents in and out of prison, are homeless and/or are foster children.
