There are different ways to test students' learning and I chose the "whiteboard" tool. Each student will have a requested whiteboard, marker and an eraser and I'll ask them to spell a 3-letter word or their sight words. Then they will show their answer by raising them up. The same will happen with math (addition and subtraction). It is a terrific tool for immediate feedback and assessment. I use these to check my students' understanding. I believe this is an effective strategy for enhancing their spelling and mathematical skills. Whiteboards are a great way of actively involving students in the learning process. Individual assessments will help me know the weaknesses and strengths of each student. The result will give me an idea what they need to review or learn more.
