My students attend an urban public school in Oklahoma that serves grades 7-12. 85% of our students receive a free or reduced-price lunch. My students are lower middle class and most are in single parent homes or live with grandparents. My students do not come with supplies and rely on the school for basic classroom needs. We want our students to have equal access despite our inability to provide it. My students want to learn and we are responsible to provide the tools necessary to do so.
