I am a 4th grade teacher "Where the West Begins" in Louisiana. We are a Title 1 elementary Environmental School of Choice with approximately 375 students. My students lack opportunities for exploring outside of their region. I work with students who have varying degrees of exceptionalities. An iPad mini would allow my students to explore, analyze, research, and problem-solve with visual support to add impressions that make a lasting impact. As my idol Ms. Frizzle says, "Take Chances, Make Mistakes, Get Messy!" She brings the information to the learning site. I can't hop in the bus, this would be a great alternative.
