Hello! My classroom this year is full of 26 lively, diverse and curious learners. We are located in Anchorage, Alaska and truly love opportunities to try new things. School in Alaska includes wonders that students in other states may not encounter. We occasionally have to move our attention to the window to watch a moose cow and calf wander by. Sometimes we pause to watch the sun rise over the Chugach Mountains mid morning, at 10AM! I try to keep my students moving and engaged throughout their day. Centers and stations help to provide purposeful activities that take my students' learning further. I hope to help them to generate questions and ideas through opportunities to engage with science and technology. I hope to enhance my stations with items funded by this Donor's Choose project.
