Bienvenidos a mi pagina de Donors Choose! Welcome to my Donors Choose page! I am a Two-Way Immersion (Spanish) elementary teacher in Lake Forest, California. This will be my third year teaching 1st grade TWI. We serve a diverse population of language learners. My 1st graders learn in Spanish 90% of the day, and in English 10% of the day. I consider all of my students to be language learners. It is my mission to ensure that my students build a strong foundation in reading, writing, and math (in Spanish!) so that they are bilingual and bi-literate by the time they graduate our program. I also strive to create an environment in which students can play, create, and collaborate. These activities are critical to their development, and require certain resources.
