My students are from very diverse backgrounds from a large metropolitan city in the Bay Area. About 40% of them come from families that live below the poverty line, and thus do not have access to such things as Internet and computers that many of us take for granted. In the hallways of our school, Spanish is spoken just as much as English, and my students are very eager to learn and explore Spanish as their second language. I incorporate technology into all facets of my teaching and my students' learning, to keep students engaged and wanting to perform their best. My students are extremely excited in class, eager to learn, and craving new knowledge every day. I am very proud of what they accomplish in my Spanish class!
