I am a 1st grade teacher in Pasadena ISD! We are at Title I campus and I have 20 students in my classroom. More than half of our schools student population receive free or reduced lunch. Many of my students receive backpack food on the weekend and Hurricane Harvey left a couple of students homeless. Despite the hardships my students face daily, they come to school with a smile on their face, ready to learn and they do their best. These children want to be in school and are eager to learn. My goal to make my classroom a place that brings out their greatest potential so they all can be successful one day. I want to provide them with the best possible chance to learn!

About my class
