I teach 5th grade at Cesar Chavez Elementary School in Davis California. While this is my 23rd year teaching, I still find every year interesting and inspiring. In my 23 years of teaching I have taught from the extremely low socio-economic population to the moderately high socio-economic population. I have taught most grades and subjects. I can honestly say that there is no "easier" population or school and not an "easier" grade. Every population and every grade has its challenges and its advantages. Every year has been a great challenge to me and every year I learn something that makes me better at what I do. I love my profession and I strive every day to be a better teacher.
