Building our classroom library will help students see and look through multiple genres instead of just talking about them from a textbook. Students will be able to learn about locations they have never been to before and visit them with their imagination. You may not be able to go there physically, but you can read and learn about these places and feel like you have been. Covid may keep us home physically, but through books we can go anywhere. By continually seeing the importance in reading daily, students will continue to raise their independent reading levels.
