"I am enough of a realist to understand that I can't reach every child, but I am more of an optimist to get up every morning and try." -Steve Sherman. I teach in a Title I school, where almost 65% of the students are free or reduced lunch. My classroom consists of 20 students, who vary in their abilities. In my general education classroom, I teach inclusion students, who have specific learning disabilities, ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) students, and gifted students. Even though my students differ in background knowledge and capabilities, they each have their own special talents and come to school eager to learn.
