I teach at Liberty Early Elementary in Indianapolis, Indiana. We are an early childhood school with 476 Kindergarteners and 167 Preschoolers. Of the 476 Kindergarteners, 74% are from low income households. I am the teacher in the Kindergarten CIP or life skills class and also help to provide services for the students with IEPs in the general education kindergarten classrooms. I have the privilege of working with a vast array of abilities. Some of the students I work with may have Language or Communication Impairments, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Orthopedic Impairments, Blind/Low Vision, Deaf/Hard of Hearing, Developmental Delays, and Mild to Severe Cognitive Disabilities. I truly enjoy working with all of my students and count myself honored to be part of their educational and developmental journey.
