Teaching in an inclusive classroom requires innovation and thinking outside of the box of regular instruction. My co-teacher and I work hard on a daily basis to provide learning opportunities to meet the DIVERSE needs of our students. One way we want to meet the needs of our unique group of students is to provide them with a variety of seating options to help them do their best learning. Our students have a wide range of needs from special education requirements to gifted and talented. Having options for their learning and seating will definitely help us meet their needs as learners. Having a wide variety of seating options available to our students will help us provide small group, whole group, and individual instructional opportunities for their best learning.
