By providing flexible seating and light enhancement within my classroom, my diverse learners will be able to address their personal needs, focus more effectively, and reach optimal learning. Flexible seating options will provide students who struggle with the need to move and those with special needs such as ADHD and OHI to engage in needed movement, while staying engaged in the learning process. Having the option of movement while working, allows students to release their energy in a positive manner. In doing so, students are engaged more effectively in the learning process with less class distractions. We need stools, Wobble Chairs and more. Using fluorescent light filters in the classroom softens the lighting, which reduces stress, lessens distractions, improves focus, and optimizes the learning process for students.
