As my kindergartners bloom and learn their letters' name and sounds, they need a grade level book collection. Books that are leveled from the easy books that an emergent reader might begin to the longer, complex books that advance readers will select. -"Our classroom library needs to reflect this diversity of reading levels and interests, while aligning to our updated curriculum and students' needs. With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to improve at their own reading level. My goal as a teacher is to see my students succeed grade level literacy skills and observe them realizing that they are reading higher leveled books.
