Social emotional learning is an essential component to a child's educational and life experience. As the school social worker, I work with students to understand and recognize feelings, cope with emotions, set goals, make positive decisions, and develop relationships with others. This will be my first full year as a school social worker. I was given a lot of books and some games from the previous school social worker, but I am in need of some updated resources for the students I support. I plan to use these resources with students in 1 on 1 and small group settings to teach social emotional learning.
