Help our scholars to grow their brains by filling their tummies! Some of my students get onto the bus as early as 6 am. It is a very long day, and they get really hungry. My students need snacks such as fruit snacks and goldfish crackers to keep them energized for learning all day long! These snacks would allow our students to have enough energy to keep on learning throughout the day and grow their brains! If we can make sure they get a snack, they will be able to better focus and really build the fundamental knowledge necessary for them to go onto the next grade and continue to be successful throughout school. This project is important because our students have a very long day and need some different yummy snacks to help them stay engaged in learning. If we can give them the smallest thing like an afternoon snack, they will be able to keep up their energy and learn even more in the exhausting afternoons. I am also requesting art supplies for their literacy and math activities. We can use the colored pencils, colored paper and glue for various projects during our math units. I have also requested coloring books and clay for fun reward activities to help keep them motivated to learn!
