My Pre-K students will be able to learn and reinforce concepts such as shapes, colors, patterns, 3D forms, and be exposed to constructing skills, all while learning to work collaboratively and interact with one another. These are all key skills for the Pre-K age group to develop. We can also make ties to inspirational artists such as Pablo Picasso, Paul Klee, and Mary Blair who all utilized shapes and colors in their bright artworks! Research supports that primary age children learn best through play and tactile experiences. These tiles are a great way to expand their knowledge and skills. While these are great tools for all of my students, they are especially helpful for my unique pathways students who work extra hard on social interactions and sensory experiences.
