Before COVID, we had several flexible seating options in our classroom, but our floor chairs and couch were fabric. New cleaning protocols meant kids could no longer use them. Losing the comfortable seating they were used to added another layer of stress for students during COVID, especially because they spent most of the year learning at home on couches and beds. These easy-to-clean seats can all be easily wiped down which helps keep our students healthy. This couch and seats will allow my students to sit where and how they're comfortable, and to work, read, and relax safely. My kids take lots of movement breaks and this couch would allow them to work together to build forts, slides, and tumbling structures, putting their energy and creativity to good use during that time. The ball chairs allow them to continue to move while they work and the floor seats make curling up with a good book that much more inviting!
