The resources for my project include 1 touch-screen computer and 2 bean bags. An explanation of why these items are important to our class and how they will be used is listed below. A touch-screen computer is needed because many students with disabilities do not have the fine motor skills that are required to operate a computer independently. This will make a huge difference in my student's learning because now they will be able to feel empowered. With a touch-screen computer, students will be able to expand their use of technology. The bean-bags will be used to enhance the student's sensory environment. Sometimes students require a quiet place where they can feel secure. A bean bag is often a desired "go-to" place.
