My classroom consists of students with wide-range personalities, including children who may fall under the category of ESE (exceptional students), EBD (emotional behavioral disorders), and ESOL (English as a second language). Students are varied between ninth and tenth grade, consisting of mainly Latino/Hispanic, African American, and Asian descent. These students are categorized as the lower preforming students, or bottom 25%, as most have not passed the FSA or Florida Standards Assessment. These students come from unstable and low-income households, so it is expected that they sometimes feel less inclined or motivated to preform, but with the right amount of dedication and innovation, ensuring their education is a successful one should be an easy feat. These students are in need of materials to make their learning a unique, exciting process.
