My students are a small group of individuals with severe special needs. Each student works their hardest to be successful in and out of the classroom. It can be very difficult to always find the funding to give these students exactly what they need in order to accomplish their goals, but that has never stopped them from putting forth their best effort. My goal is for every student that comes through my classroom to have pride in the work that they do. I am lucky to be at a school that understands the importance of being a community. There is a realization that ALL learners are welcome and accepted, no matter their learning style or abilities. It is this type of environment that allows one to really appreciate their own differences and take pride in what they can do.
