Capturing the attention of the imaginative middle school students is fun; keeping them focused, however, can be challenging. By providing flexible seating in my classroom, I will create choice and comfort for my students who spend over 40+ hours in my classroom. Wobble chairs can provide simple sensory input that some students need to stay attentive to, reduce fidgeting, and calm their anxieties and put them at ease. This will empower my students to power through whole group and small group lessons, boosting their engagement and overall performance in my class.
