Flexible seating in the classroom will give my students the feeling of being comfortable in our classroom home. I want my students to feel like a family while in the classroom and providing a setup with flexible furniture will do just that. The table and stools set, picnic table, wobbly chairs, bouncy balls and lap desks will allow my classroom to feel open and inviting when the students enter daily. A lot of my students need to move while working. The bouncy balls and wobbly chairs will really help to keep them busy without becoming distracted. A lot of my students make school their safe zone and are not given the opportunities they deserve when they leave school each day. My hope is to give my students a sense of love, comfort and peace when they enter my classroom doors each and every day.
