Today, in the auto collision industry, an entry level technician is expected to have product knowledge and know how to sand and prep, apply primer, weld, and measure. My mission is to encourage students with drive and dedication to pursue careers in the collision industry that include collision repair technician, automotive painter, insurance estimator, shop manager, and detailer/buffer. By obtaining these skills, students benefit and will be in a better position to find a well paying job or possibly a career. Students are in need of work stands to place car parts on and properly practice repairing dents and painting them. In order for students to learn to repair on live cars, they must first learn to hone their skills on car parts. We have collected different used car parts like fenders and hoods for each student to work on. Work stands are versatile and can hold any individual part at a time.
