My students are active and ready to learn. They have active minds and crave movement while learning. With two Hokki stools, they will have the chance to wiggle their bodies while staying focused and engaged. The stools will be used in small group and whole group settings. If a student needs to move during whole group instruction they will be given the opportunity to use a Hokki stool to stay focused. Other times in the day the stools will be a seating option for individual and small group work time. Our classroom is a flexible learning environment. My students choose a work spot that they feel is the best fit for them. We talk a lot about self awareness and making good choices while learning. In order to maintain this flexible environment my students need a large carpet to anchor our whole group discussions. With this carpet everyone will have their own space to learn and share with the whole class. Hokki stools and a large classroom carpet will provide my students with more flexible seating options and a place for everyone in our room to learn and grow.
