I have been teaching at this Middle School for the past 6 years. I teach 7th and 8th grade students at an urban middle school. The majority of my students are of Haitian decent. Some of them have come directly from the earthquake devastated country of Haiti with very little formal education and language barriers. Most importantly though is that they are all eager to learn and very interested in how technology can assist them in mathematics. The students that do not have a language barrier are always ready to help their peers. My students are smart, loving and most times very funny while in class. We have a lot of challenges in our school when it comes to resources but we always do our very best.
