My students come from many different home situations...some speak more than one language, some have never left their hometown of Mount Airy while others have traveled across the United States, some will eat a hearty dinner tonight while others will go to bed hungry, some have many books at home while some have none. Despite their differences, this diverse group of children has come together to be a family this year.
