Anyone else realize teaching over Zoom (or any other teleconferencing platform) is boring for your students? We are finding it 100x harder to grab and keep our preschooler's attention when they are watching a screen and not able to touch and interact with our activities. Eye-catching visuals, noise makers, and surprise pop up toys can help to keep our student's attention during circle times and lessons on the computer. My hope is to provide my two preschool teachers with attention grabbing materials for distance learning so they do not feel the desperate panic I did these last few months when my students ignored my lessons.
