These drum heads will be used to replace the worn out heads that have been on the drums for years. As a competitive marching band, the extra heads purchased will be used to replace any head that may break before contest, football games, or community performances. This project will significantly improve the sound of our field percussion and in turn, the overall sound of our band. The purchase of these drum heads is not likely to happen if this project does not get funded. Due to having a small budget for such a large high school band program, taking care of our students takes precedence over new equipment.
