The students that make up my classroom come from all over the world. They come from different cultures and have had different life experiences. We want to celebrate those differences, and help them to share their cultures with their friends! These books, puzzles and blocks would help our students feel more at home in our classroom, as well as allow them to share their home cultures with all of their new friends. The Uncle Goose Blocks will be a wonderful tool to show the students the different types of letters that make up each of the unique languages represented in our class, and all of the different books will help the children to learn their new language (English) while helping us (the teachers) become familiar with the languages they speak at home. Funding this project will help me to create a more inclusive space all of my students.
