My students are culturally, academically and socio-economically diverse. It is an inclusive classroom; some of my students have special learning needs, some are gifted learners, some are English Language Learners, and some are general education students. They have a variety of learning preferences. I would like to purchase a few new tables and chairs for my room. My goal is to create a more flexible learning environment that will allow for more collaboration and creativity. Changing up the physical space will give the students an opportunity to choose how and where they work best, rather than limiting them to sitting at their desk all day long.
