I teach a variety of students from 1st to 5th grade who are struggling with their reading skills. They are great students with various challenges across the different skill areas, but their time with me focuses on boosting their reading skills. We work on all areas from decoding and fluency to vocabulary and comprehension. Many are not excited about reading before they start in my intervention groups, but in short time they start to love coming to my class and show some amazing gains with some extra attention to details.
