This year my school decided to honor my students' language and close the achievement gap by teaching them in Spanish. I think this proved to be best decision we've ever done. I have seen so much growth and hope for the future then ever before in any class I've taught. My students are using academic language, reading and writing more then ever before. We've had a strong and successful year despite the lack of technology and bilingual materials they need to continue to increase their skills.
