PE is cross cultural. The student's don't need to speak the same language to understand and participate, that's what makes it so great. By providing my students with a variety of colorful equipment, it is allowing for mass participation. More students are able to participate in activity at the same time instead of waiting longer for a turn. With the options of more color choices it allows for students to learn by doing through various sport related skill activities and games. Additionally, this helps communication and cooperative learning skills. Participating in these types of activities, fosters a positive classroom environment where I am able to offer many different activities based on the students' interests and needs. Many of the students have never been exposed to some of the sports or activities based on their cultural experiences. Being able to provide new experiences fosters growth.
