Carpet time is a very important time in our Pre-K routine. The carpet is used throughout our day. We sit down and hear our morning news. My students learn new concepts on the carpet. I conduct my read aloud and students read and play on the carpet. We sit on the carpet to do different activities on the board. The carpet will give my students a comfortable place to sit instead of the cold tile. The vibrant carpet will add a special touch to the room. It will also make carpet time inviting because the students will be able to sit on a vibrant new carpet. The carpet is an essential area in our classroom.
