I teach an amazing group of 8th grade students who all have a variety of disabilities that affect their learning. These students are all accessing the general education curriculum with the necessary supports that will allow them to be successful and make the transition to high school. My students disabilities range from Specific Learning Disabilities, ADD/ADHD, Autism, Emotional and Behavioral Disorders, and other medical issues. They are hard working and enthusiastic learners who will thrive with the right equipment. This school has a population of almost 900 students with almost 75%, if not more being on free lunch.

About my class
