The funds I am requesting are for items that students need to complete their work, but may not be able to afford themselves. Binders, note cards, and notebooks will aid students in different units and organization they are required to accomplish throughout the year. I am asking for enough funds for every student to receive these things, so no one is left out or singled out in front of their peers. Another specific tool listed is the listening center, which will give students with lower reading levels the option to listen to an audio book and get a true feel for the literature coming to life. My students bring their all every day, regardless of what life is like outside of the school building. They want to succeed, and with some supplies and tools, they can be incredibly successful and find learning an enjoyable, meaningful experience.
