My students are a melting pot of characteristics. We operate like a tandem bike; we need each other to learn successfully. Students cheer when we have our morning meeting each day. They work together as a team, spur one another on, and encourage each other, as well as their teachers. This is the first year that students have used the library at our school, and I have seen them grow as readers and leaders because of life and literary experiences.
